I took part in the conference with a paper on “For Ever in Transit: D.H. Lawrence’s Modernist Malaise”
From July 2nd to July 5th I have been a Visiting Professor and have given a special lecture at Tohoku Gaukin University. At Osaka Expo, on July 1st, a MoU was signed between the University of Genoa and Tohoku Gaukin University. The MoU has been promoted for over one year by me and my Japanese colleague, Prof. Tatsuro Ide.
I have been a Visiting Scholar and I have given two lectures on the following topics: Metamorphosis of Dance and Dancing in European Modernism and A Sanctuary Made of Silence and the Aristocratic Tree (Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics).
I have been a Visiting Scholar and I have taught a seminar to teachers of English at Thai Nguyen University, Vietnam.

From March 23rd to April 14th I will be a Visiting Scholar at Konan University, Kobe, Japan. I will deliver some lectures for the Kansai Branch of the D.H. Lawrence Society of Japan and at Kyoto Tachibana University. I will do research on Traditional Japanese Theatre, Noh and Kabuki.
At the seminar Maschi, organized by the University of Padua, I delivered a paper on “The Hug di Thom Gunn. Oltre la sessualità”.
